Máxima MC’s Vascular Medicine department focuses on patients with (potentially) hereditary forms of cardiovascular disease and hereditary dyslipidemia. In the region, Máxima MC supports the LEEFH Foundation.

The medical team consists of a vascular medicine specialist and a nurse practitioner. If a genetic disorder is suspected, family history evaluation and, if necessary, DNA testing are offered.
