3 new LEEFH centers

We are very pleased with the three new LEEFH centers that opened in June: Alrijne, St. Jandsdal, and Van Weel-Bethesda. We look forward to working with them! The LEEFH network now consists of 42 LEEFH centers.

Alrijne is part of Alrijne Zorggroep. FH care is provided by Dr. A. Iglesias del Sol at the Leiderdorp and Leiden locations.

The Van Weel-Bethesda Hospital provides basic specialized medical care for the residents of Goeree-Overflakkee, western Voorne-Putten, and Schouwen-Duiveland. Adult FH care is part of the Departmentof Internal Medicine(Dr. W. Zondag, Dr. S.H.J.C.M. Damen), and pediatric FH care is part of theDepartment of Pediatrics (Drs. M.J. van Ledden-Klok, Drs. R. M. van Gilst). Pediatrician Drs. C. Risseuw provides FH care for children at the Van Weel-Bethesda outpatient clinic in the Spijkenisse Medical Center.

St. Jansdal is a regional hospital that provides all basic care and focuses primarily on the Northwest Veluwe and eastern Flevoland regions. Adult FH care is part of the Department ofInternal Medicine(Annemarie Brundel, Alike Naber, Barbara Bouwens, Mirjam Pit), and pediatric FH care is part of theDepartment of Pediatrics (Yvette Konijnenberg).
