High cholesterol can be hereditary. If your cholesterol levels are very high and/or members of your family have young-onset cardiovascular disease, you may have hereditary high cholesterol. One form of hereditary high cholesterol is familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). The Heart & Vascular Group would like to ask you a few questions about this topic.
