Every year, one in three people who are currently not being screened—due to the suspension of the population-based screening program—suffers a heart attack. That amounts to 666 people. LEEFH compiled these facts into an infographic and presented it to Ms. Dijkstra ahead of the prevention debate on March 31.
The infographic shows that introducing a population screening program can save many families grief and save lives.
